As our company expands, we are looking for a Purchasing Manager with the following qualifications:
A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
Maintain a professional appearance and the ability to adhere to Bottega Louie standards
Familiarity with Plate IQ / QuickBooks / Cogswell is a plus
Detail-oriented, extremely organized, highly responsive and exceptional communication skills
One year purchasing or restaurant management experience preferred
Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Manage Vendor Relationships
Purchase approximately $10 Million of ingredients, beverages, service ware, furniture, fixtures, equipment and supplies annually
Evaluate suppliers by assessing price, quality, availability and other criteria
Interview vendors to learn about products, services and prices
Identify reliable vendors
Pair purchases with financial and operating discipline
Coordinate approval from Bottega Louie’s Management
Negotiate contracts with approved vendors and suppliers to obtain the best deals on behalf of the company
Adhere to approval standard operating procedures for purchases and vendor interactions
Purchasing Management & Inventory
Process purchase requests from operation units
Manage order guides
Research and recommend alternatives for expensive or alternative products
Maintain digital purchase order and invoice records
Inspect inventory of supplies, ingredients, FF&E, China, glass, silver, alcohol and all other inventories
Report inventories
Coordinate with operation units to assess and track ongoing and changing purchasing requirements
Delivery & Receiving
Schedule and record delivery times
Resolve shipping errors
Process payment authorization
Maintain digital records of receipts, records and inventories
Inspect product quality
Coordinate with chefs and managers to ensure product quality is maintained.
Manage receiving SOPs
Periodic Analysis & Reporting
Weekly Inventory, Purchase and Receiving Reports
Monthly Cost analysis by vendor
Monthly Inventory Report
Weekly Purchase Report
Weekly Price Change Report
Weekly declining checkbook
