Bottega Louie Restaurant & Patisserie debuted in DTLA in 2009 and has since gained a legendary reputation as a world class patisserie and luxury Italian restaurant. We recently opened our second location in West Hollywood.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Mixing, preparing and baking bread and pastries
  • Crafting and creating new and exciting baked goods
  • Ensuring all baked goods are completed on time for opening
  • Ability to read and follow recipes
  • Baking
  • Good organizational skills
  • Must be able to adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.

Qualifications

We are looking for Dough Producers with the following qualifications:

  • A preferred two(2) years of experience in high volume production baking similar position
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in high volume production baking
  • Ability to understand baker's math and calculate recipe conversions
  • Advanced knowledge and technique of morning pastries with regards to production,handling, shaping, baking
  • Ability to measure ingredients in metric units
  • Ability to consistently decorate finished products
  • Ability to work unsupervised with no quality decline
  • Possesses a sense of urgency and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to work quickly, efficiently, accurately
  • Ability to stand, climb, stoop, push and crouch for extended periods of time as required
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Works well with others, communicating clearly, kindly, and professionally
  • 5 days a week availability (including weekends)
  • Valid food handler’s card

Qualified Dough Producers must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and have exceptional communication skills. One year purchasing or restaurant management experience required.
