2004 Volvo S80 Front Axle Replacement

Basic details:

1. Jack up the front of the car and place it on the jack stands.
2. Remove front tires.
3. Remove axle nut.
4. Remove ABS cable from clips.
5. Remove the top bolt on the hub/strut mount.
6. Loosen the bottom bolt on the Hub/strut mount.
7. Turn the wheel away from the front of the vehicle and push the axle out of the hub assembly.
8. Remove the axle from the transmission.
9. Replace with new axle.
10. Connect hub to strut.
11. Install axle nut to the appropriate torque.
12. Install tires.
13. Lower car to ground and test.
